Top Gear presenter Richard Hammondm was moverd yesterday by air ambulance from Leeds General Hospital to Bristol Hospital closer to his home. Carried onto the helicopter via a strecher he was later seen walking after he landed in Bristol.
Hammond 36 who was involved in a high speed crash whilst unoffically trying to break the british land speed record suffered what the doctors called sever brain injuries, but his remarkable recovery has astonished friends and doctors alike.
Meanwhile Top Gear fans have donated nearly One Hundred and Fifty Thousand pounds to the charity based Yorkshire Air ambulance who are noted for probably saving his life.
